An open 'source' audio project aimed at creating an album via the internet and mail. We hope to utilize a collaboration of artists of all talents and genre's to create a stunning collect that far surpasses the current industry giants and their greedy copyright laws!

Actually, we changed our name to 'open music internet exchange' and have opened our official website & forum (still under construction). We are currently trying to gather members and then discuss what we would like achieve musically as a group. If you are interested in joining or supporting us goto our site at http://omie.no-ip.org or email me at openmusicadmin[at]gmail[dot][com]

Thanks for the reply!

This sounds quite interesting, although it sounds like you might have problems with different artists using different software and file formats, and it certainly seems hosting would be an issue (CD quality .wav is about 10MB/minute, not to mention hosting all the loops/samples for it), but don't let my negativity prevent you =D
Depending on what genre(s) the organisation will focus on, I'd probably love to hear some of the music produced. I wouldn't want to upset your vision of "the most innovative album" by contributing, however :P
